UPM Raflatac says that it is now expanding its UHF EPC Class1 Gen 2 product portfolio to include UCODE G2X ICs from NXP Semiconductors.
The company reports that the G2X IC offers good performance over the entire UHF frequency range and supports up to 240 bits for the EPC number. The IC also offers long read range reliability and works well in dense reader environments. (The G2X ICs are EPCglobal Class1 Gen2 1.2.0 compliant.)
